Thai Botanic is a trading name of Asia Business Alliance Co., Ltd., 99/305 Khumklao 11, Ladkrabang, Bangkok 10520, Thailand. The company is the data controller for information collected through this website.
What we collect
What you send us. There is no enquiry form on this site. Everything we hold about you is what you have chosen to send by email, telephone or WhatsApp: your name, your company, your contact details, and whatever project information you include, such as a species list, a plant schedule or a drawing.
What the website records. Like any website, ours produces server logs containing the IP address, browser and pages requested. These are used to keep the site running and secure, and are not used to build a profile of you.
What we use it for
To answer your enquiry, to quote, and to supply and ship trees if you go ahead. We also keep correspondence so that a later enquiry about the same project does not start from nothing.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not send marketing to people who have not asked for it.
Who else sees it
Exporting trees requires other parties to hold some of your details. Where a shipment goes ahead, the consignee name and delivery details are shared with our freight forwarder and shipping line, and appear on the documents required by plant health and customs authorities in Thailand and in the destination country. Only what a shipment actually requires is shared.
Our website hosting and security providers process technical data on our behalf in order to serve and protect the site.
Cookies
This site uses cookies needed to serve and secure the pages. Our hosting and content delivery providers may set their own for the same purpose. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept while it is useful to the project and to any continuing relationship. Records connected to an actual shipment are kept for as long as tax, customs and plant health rules require. Server logs are kept only briefly.
Your rights
Under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Write to us and we will deal with it. Where a record must be kept for customs or plant health reasons we will say so rather than delete it quietly.
