Landscape use

Street and avenue planting, car parks, plazas, courtyards and coastal urban schemes. The tiered crown gives dense shade at a manageable scale, and it responds well to formative pruning where a uniform street line is wanted.

It shows to best advantage over planting, gravel or darker paving rather than pale hard landscape, where the fallen fruit can mark. Growth is measured, so specify the size you want at delivery — the trees hold their form and scale for many years once planted.
